63 St. John’s Rusape members went on an invitational tour of Nyaradzo Funeral Services’ projects on the 6th of January 2025.

“This was an eye-opening visit,” said Rev. Sithole the Pastor-in-Charge and CM Director of Makoni-Buhera District.

Members were taken on a tour of the parlor, the life and motor insurance products, the chalets and functions venue, the farm, and the abattoir.

The visit was a milestone for the circuit as they were able to discover wider experiences beyond the funeral services that most members are familiar with.

“There is a lot of work going on at the Rujeko abattoir in Nyazura where Nyaradzo is buying cattle, goats, and sheep from the community, a clear testimony of the company’s relationship with the locals” said Rev. Sithole.

During the visit, the 63-member strong delegation received a tree each and a calendar, a reminder to support the conservation of natural forests continuously and as Methodists being stewards of the environment.

“We were also appraised of the catering business by Nyaradzo, the Kalundike furniture manufacturing plant in Ruwa, and the plans of supporting road construction in rural areas” he concluded
